While studying the insect collection of the Museum national d'Histoire naturelle, Paris, France, two American scientists uncovered a small, leaf -
dwelling praying mantis with unique features collected from Madagascar in 2001.
The newly described Ilomantis ginsburgae looks similar to other leaf -
dwelling praying mantises.
