dysphoric states of mild and moderate depressions — not as disorders that will be cured, but as chronic, relapsing, remitting disorders?
This work operates with and in the tension between the ethical demand of expression and the institutionalization of taste and sensibility, dwelling on various
dysphoric affects of contemporary life —
states of suspension, alienation, and impasse — as they manifest in artistic practice and material culture.
