When it comes to
reading outdoors an
e-reader often gives you a superior experience, due to the glare free screen.
The Paris based company has just unveiled a new solar powered
e-reader case at Mobile World Congress that is said to add an extra day of battery life for every hour you
read outdoors.
Obvously, if you never
read in your bathtub, or your hot tub, or at the beach, or
outdoors in the rain, there is very little reason to het a waterproof
e-reader.
A larger
E-Reader that displays color may just be what the doctor ordered, lightweight and able to be
read outdoors, will be interested in knowing more details, like the operating system, cost, and content distribution systems.
Up until now, people who have bought
e-readers have had to make a compromise: either
read in color on a highly reflective screen, or
read in shades of gray on a display that's easy to make out even
outdoors.
Despite the proliferation of 7 - inch tablets that can double as
e-readers, there are still many users out there who prefer e-ink devices for
reading e-books because they've got much longer battery life, are a lot more readable in direct sunlight
outdoors, and feel easier on the eyes for
reading for extended periods of time as opposed to
reading on LCD screens.
