In the past scholars believe that Maya civilization was not fully established until about A.D. 300, at the start of
the Early Classic Period.
Archaeologists estimate that over 46000 people lived in La Milpa in its heyday in
the Early Classic Period.
Chichen Itza was founded in

Period) and abandoned in 900 AD (
