I don't think much of the graphics either, the cartoony style is fine as its supposed to look like Skyward but it lacks the watercolour effect, the textures looked poor and the locations don't look all that colourful — but keep in mind this was only one place and is likely
early footage of the game.

The first time I saw
footage for AeternoBlade, my initial thought was, «is Square Enix re-releasing any
of its
early 2000s
games on the Switch?»
For some time, the
game was (at least conceptually) a top view 3rd person
game (we have loads
of sketches, notes,
early footage and that kind
of stuff from Year Walk, and we hope to show you them in some form after the
game is released!
Namco released 12 minutes
of gameplay
footage earlier this week, but this is more
of a cinematic, although there are a few in -
game shots that show off the varied environments.
A handful

footage yet; instead a pre-rendered cinematic was offered featuring an unnamed, masked character and the promise
of exploring a brand new Universe.
EA held a special event for its flagship series, Battlefield,

Early footage of Blacklist showed Fisher running around and scaling buildings like Uncharted's Nathan Drake, but while he's certainly more agile than before, Blacklist still isn't a platforming
game or an action adventure - Fisher's athleticism is nearly always in service
of his stealth abilities.
It hasn't been until now we've been able to see Star Citizen alpha 3.0 - effectively the
game in
Early Access shape - in the hands
of a player, and to see uninterrupted
footage of what it's like to wake up in the universe and simply play.
Mostly, though, the surveillance camera - style
footage and the sense
of being an unseen observer
of other people's movements make me think
of the
early days
of the «reality» TV show Big Brother (the show's UK debut was in 2000) and, in particular, the uneasy feeling that to watch meant being complicit in the
game of control and manipulation playing out on the screen.
