This session will focus on specific clusters of Relationship Skills and Responsible Decision Making and illustrate how these can be efficiently assessed and effectively taught to students ages 8 to 12 years or upper elementary and
early middle school years.
In addition,
the early middle school grades typically provide less independence to students than do the upper levels of elementary schools.
Relational bullying becomes highly prevalent during
the early middle school years because tweens have strong social skills yet are still quite emotionally immature.
The early middle school section is especially weak.
