earlier (FYI: seven - speed manuals are still offered), there are still big gobs of performance available with just a very modest
application of
throttle.
The quattro system is good, perceptibly shuffling torque to allow
early application of full
throttle, and the braking system, with 310 mm front ventilated and 272 mm solid rear discs, smell hot but don't fade after half a dozen hot laps.
