earn Maddie's ® Graduate Certificate in Shelter Medicine entirely online.
As a student enrolled in the 30 credit MS degree program, one will
earn the Maddie's ® Online Graduate Certificate in Shelter Medicine as well as have the option to earn 3 additional certificates:

earn the Maddie's Certificate in Shelter Medicine, which is a nationally recognized credential honoring the knowledge and skills of a practice - ready shelter veterinarian.
If you're a non-degree seeking veterinary practitioner or a veterinary student outside of the University of Florida system,
earning Maddie's ® Graduate Certificate in Shelter Medicine can advance your veterinary career with additional knowledge and skills that you can put to use immediately.

Dr. Agapis has completed the
Maddie's Shelter Medicine Program and
earned a Master's in Veterinary Medical Science with a focus in Shelter Medicine and a Graduate Certificate in Veterinary Public Health through the University of Florida.
Our expectation was a good experience where
Maddie would either
earn her driver's license OR learn more about what she needed to improve upon to
earn it.
