higher value, you will be better off

point per $ 1, rather than one MR
point.
Of course, you should NOT be doing this because the interest charges are very
high and negate the
value of any miles and

The combination of good
earning power and a tiered reward chart allows for potentially

value Wyndham Rewards
points at 1 cent per
point, so the
earn rate of 10p / $ reflects a
value of 10 % of your spend and is one of the
highest in the industry.
Of course, we might want to get the
highest possible
value out of our hard -
earned points and miles, but ultimately you may be happier getting simply decent mathematical
value out of your
points rather than chasing the top - end reward that does not fit in your travel plans.
In our opinion, the
value of bonus miles an active traveler can
earn each year from 2x
points for food and travel expenses, plus the savings from not paying international transaction fees make the
value of benefits
higher than the cost of the card.
It's worth noting that the percentages in returned
value are
higher for the Marriott and SPG promos though the nice thing about this promotion is unlike the Marriott or SPG promos, you can start
earning extra
points with your first stay.
How I compare: While many miles &
points enthusiasts (including myself)
earn a lot of their
points with credit cards, not everybody wants to dive into that «hobby» or has access to the
high -
value credit card offers in the USA.
However, since myself and most of my readers enjoy the outsized
value that comes along with
earning and burning miles and
points and often seek out
higher value from sign - up bonuses, this card probably won't be an attractive option for many of us.
