Here's how you can
earn miles, attain elite status, and book award flights on
more than a dozen domestic and foreign frequent - flier programs — each of which has at least one major U.S. partner.

The net effect
here is that deeply discounted Economy Class fares will
earn more miles while some
more flexible fares will
earn fewer
miles.

No one is doing any worse
here as the only change appears to be that the
more flexible Business Class fares
earn 25 %
more miles.

mile or point counts and the couple 100
earned here and there from dining out or picking up your favorite pizza at the
more than 11k participating restaurants will add up over time!
While there are fare classes on both Thai and partner airlines that
earn lower or no
miles (see details
here), surprisingly all fare classes on United Airlines currently
earn full mileage, which is better than most and can
earn you
more miles for a cheap, long - haul ticket than in United's MileagePlus program!
They also are a partner airline in StarAlliance (read
more here), together with Lufthansa, United and Singapore Airlines, giving you access to a vast number of airlines and flights to get you to destinations around the world,

miles on!
