It's a nice way to give something for newcomers to ease themselves into the battle system with (alongside
the easier difficulty mode), without diluting too much what the core of SMT's battle mechanics are.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 update 1.3.0 provides access to a New Game Plus mode and
easier difficulty mode among a number of other updates.
According to the in - progress change list, the update will make
the Easy difficulty mode easier, improve roof visibility and fix some niggling leftover problems.
We might see this as selling access to
the easy difficulty mode.

With a progressive level of
difficulty, it's
easy to spend dozens of hours finishing the game's dynamic story
mode level offerings while attempting to collect goodies.
The Ninja Gaiden franchise has been known for its punishing
difficulty, but this time around the studio has kept the casual fan in mind by including «Hero»
mode, which basically serves as an
easy mode for inexperienced players who don't want to die over and over again.
I thought the entire point in playing higher
difficulty modes was for the game to get more challenging; if anything this is making it even

mode starts out fairly

difficulty ramps up rather quickly as you progress, especially if you are attempting to go for the «I Don't Need No Stinking Power - Ups «Trophy.

With the ability to switch the
difficulty whenever you are back in the hub town, it is
easy to choose the
mode right for you.
Story
mode just sets the
difficulty down to very
easy, allowing you to breeze through the action segments of the game and get right into the story - based content.
The overall replayability of the game is medium to high, because once you become god tier powerful the enemies are relatively
easy to beat, which is why there's a secondary
difficulty mode.
The
Easy difficulty is perhaps the more fun
mode to play as there is a goal and is great for short bursts.
There is a
difficulty choice ranging from kids
mode to instant death, bringing a real challenge to any who find it too
easy.

First and foremost, being a game is hampered by an almost hilariously nonexistant
difficulty level, there's really no way to rationalize how
easy the entire Puzzle
mode is as it doesn't really matter how many stars a particular level is rated, the game never actually feels like it gets progressively harder.
Easier trophies include the Psychic bronze trophy for using a psy - blast, while harder trophies include the Faster Than A Bullet gold trophy for achieving a three star time on every level in time attack
mode and the Murderous gold trophy for completing every level on murderous
difficulty.
You can split how you play choosing either pure tower defense
mode or pure shoot - em - up by playing the
easy difficulty level or play a nicely balanced mix of both by choosing normal or above.
