The core game is pretty
easy, but it's no
easier to beat
than GTA or Call of Duty (coming from an NES - era gamer, those are «baby games,» at least in
single -
player modes).
In
single player mode switching between the characters is fairly
easy but there is no indicator to show you the location of the inactive character, making the solving of the puzzle based challenges longer
than it needs to be.
Two -
player co-op play is slightly more difficult
than intended, but
single player is a little too
easy.
Both are
easy to get into and quick to start, meant more for some multiplayer fun
than single player action.
It's far
easier to design a linear
single player experience rather
than a truly exploratory game.
Surely Fear Effect Sedna does not give a
single fuck about telling the
player the amount of bonus damage but at least it's there on paper and might even show itself from time to time when a boss goes down far
easier during the last third
than before.

Playing Gears of War with a friend is
