I was curious on your opinion about
eating dried dates and figs as I just found out how high they are in fructose!

I made them and the sweet potato &
date mixture was sooooo creamy and delicious omg I almost
ate it all before I mix it with the
dry ingredients.....
At first I thought the combination of a
dried date and peanut butter sounded gross, but then I tried it and wouldn't you know, I couldn't stop
eating them!
But let's not forget that
Dates and all
dried fruit are high in fructose and contain concentrated sugars, but with these small brownie bites, the portion size is very small (unless like me, you can not
eat just one!).

eat these
dried fruit and chocolate
dates with a cup of afternoon tea!

From my personal experience fresh fruit does not affect me but when it comes to
dried fruit like
dates, figs or cakes, biscuits I need to sensible and don't
eat 10 in one go, which sometimes can be definitely proven to be a challenge!

Sadly though I malabsorb fructose and so can not
eat dates (or most other
dried fruits)... are there any suitable substitutes you can think of?
