Every day either my mother or I went to the hospital to spend time with him, and try to coax him to
eat the homecooked meals we brought.

I'm sure it's a familiar story: impulse purchases thrown in the freezer only to be forgotten for months, half batches of muffins stashed away to stop me from
eating them all in one go, mysterious foil - wrapped items, and of course those neat containers of
homecooked beans and grains, which would have been sensible to have on hand — only if there was actually space for them...
A little conflicted since I do love to
eat out but it's so nice to prepare
homecook meals that are healthier for my family!
They're perfect on super busy days, and are a great way to ensure that you still have a healthy,
homecooked meal to
eat for dinner.
We are two foodies and an18 - month old girl, and we dream of the day when we all sit down to
eat the SAME
homecooked — and possibly ethnic — dinner together, with no deli meat, chicken nuggets or fish sticks (all organic, but still...) on the table.
This is something I struggle with even though I do
eat 80/20, mostly healthy,
homecooked meals.
