Once upon a time, I would wake up
in the
summer,
eat a leisurely breakfast complete
with newspaper reading, work out, and go back to bed.
It's usually a
summer item but I think it can still be
eaten in the fall and can be paired
with a warm broccoli or cauliflower soup.
With only one month left
in summer, I'm taking every opportunity to
eat as much
summer fruit as humanly possible.
There, on hot
summer days, the noodles are
eaten cold, arranged on a bamboo lattice rack
with dipping sauce, while on chilly winter days, the noodles are immersed
in piping - hot broth.
Will she remember that her mother baked fresh bread and made homemade peanut butter for her because that's her favorite thing to
eat, made hot dosas and idles very morning for breakfast, colorful popsicles
with variety of fresh fruit juices

summer to fall
Eating healthy is always a challenge, but things may get a bit harder
in the
summer with all the ice cream craze and backyard cookouts going on.
With all the decadence and feasting of Christmas long gone and
summer still far away I always feel at a loss
in terms of what to
eat in February.
I grew up
eating these
in Croatia, spending every
summer at my grandmother's who had a giant sour cherry tree right outside her kitchen window... as kids, we used to climb it and sit amidst the cherries for hours, only coming down at bedtime,
with stained shirts and hands:) Almost seems a sin to cook these
in a pie and not
eat them fresh...... looks awesome, though!!
I love soup, and
with all these good reasons, I think I'll start
eating it more
in summer too.
I keep buying them
with the intent to make chutney or something similar, but I never get further than
eating them straight or throwing them
in the blender to make a mango lassi — essentially a thick yogurt smoothie, it is one of my favorite discoveries this
summer.

I've been having soups for lunch all winter but just today I was thinking I want to switch back to my usual cabbage slaw
with rotisserie chicken that i normally

The thing
with me and mangos though is that I pretty much only

When I'm flush
with zucchini
in the
summer months, I
eat a raw zucchini salad every day (no joke)-- shredded zucchini, olive oil, lemon, salt, pepper and a few crumbles of goat cheese.
Well I got to lounge
in the sun and talk
with a friend while I
ate this refreshing
summer salad.
I also love to just chop up some Basil and
eat it
with fruit
in the
summer!
Just like the other vegetable recipes for swiss chard, broccoli rabe, zucchini or even root vegetables, this recipe should demonstrate how easy it is to
eat healthy, especially
in the
summer with the abundance and varieties of vegetables readily available.
I love to
eat chia pudding
with coconut milk and freeze it
with some coconut flakes
in it for the
summer treat.

Everyone who admonishes a mother for nursing
in public deserves to
eat a meal,
in public, on a hot

Summer's End
Most people exercise far less
in the winter because of the inclement weather which means you need to be a bit more careful
with your
eating than you are
in the
summer - the holidays really make this a challenge.
Here's what I came up

Summer is a great time to
eat simple meals because you don't want to spend endless hours
in the kitchen anyway when you can be enjoying time
with your family.
