As a food blogger, I am constantly testing recipe sometimes (most
of the time) end up throwing a
lot of fresh produce away because I just can't
eat it all.
I tend not to
eat well while traveling and end up doing the same thing - spending a
lot of time in the
produce aisle to stock up on
fresh veggies for a week
of endless salads.
Regardless, salad became the only way I would
eat vegetables so I made sure to always have
lots of fresh produce on hand.
I know the basics
of how it should work — more veggies, more
fresh produce, less processed food (which I
eat very little
of anyway), less white flours and sugars (which I
eat a
lot of).
But the rest
of the time I
eat clean, enjoying
lots of plant foods,
fresh produce, grass - fed meats, wholegrains and unsweetened beverages.
I gave up all grains about a year ago and
ate lots of fresh organic
produce, sprouted food, meat on the bone and broths, but no fermented food.
