eat more coconut oil in their diets but have trouble with the taste or texture, here are a few of the ways we consume it without the taste or texture becoming too overpowering:

I'm still not sure whether or not
eating more coconut oil is a determining factor
in my acne, but it's certainly worth experimenting with.
I have now totally bought
in on the reported health benefits of
eating more coconut oil, instead of consuming
more vegetable oils.
This is what I
eat in a normal week: Chicken grilled with olive
oil or
coconut oil and seasoning Ground turkey or beef with olive
oil or
coconut oil and seasoning Rice noodles or rice spinach noodles (Mrs. Leepers is a great brand) Brown rice Quinoa with chia seeds Nuts like almonds, walnuts and cashews 50/50 Spring mix on the side of each meal Different fruits and veggies (try to
eat more veggies though, as fruit has a lot of sugar)
I now do 24 hr fasts 2 - 3 days per week
in hopes it will help with my liver.When I don't do 24 hr fasts I
eat 2 meals per day lunch and supper.I
eat no
more than 20 grams net of carb from mostly radishes celery broccoli spinach.80 - 100 grams of protein the rest from vir olive
oil and virgin

Some simple habits you can start doing right away to promote a healthy gut are
eating a whole foods diet (as processed foods can lead to unhealthy gut flora and leaky gut), upping your healthy fats like
coconut oil (which contains anti-microbial properties to ween off «bad» bacteria) and adding
in more good bacteria through fermented foods like sauerkraut, kimchi and probiotic supplements to rebuilt healthy bacteria levels.

coconut oil more effectively, besides
eating as much as you can
in a day, you have to cut back on meat and processed foods to prevent negating the positive effect of
coconut oil.
These include
eating more fat, doing intermittent fasting, exercising, and including
coconut oil in my diet.
(For the record, I've been doing the salted OJ with eggs for breakfast,
eating more smaller meals to keep blood sugar balanced, drinking the balanced coffee, adding
in fruits for carbs, trying to use
coconut oil, and avoiding PUFAs as much as possible.)
In recovery, it is imperative to eliminate refined sugar, white flour and processed foods but there is so much
more we can offer our clients when it comes to nourishment:
eating to control blood sugar swings; top - notch quality organic / non-GMO food; grass - fed meat and wild fish; superfoods like
coconut oil and sauerkraut; dandelion and other greens for liver support and improved digestion; and avoiding additives, artificial sweeteners and toxins that further burden the body.
I started
eating coconut oil (sparingly, I use it to make refried beans and to roast the veggies I put
in my soups) along with
more avocado recently as, after 9 years of being vegan, I was feeling rather low - energy and moody and thought it might be due to low levels of cholesterol inhibiting some hormone production.
By simply
eating more coconut oil, you are effectively increasing the ratio of saturated fatty acids to unsaturated fatty acids and therefore displacing the PUFAs
in your body which directly improves your thyroid function on all levels.
The issue with fructose is that the
more fructose you
eat, the
more coconut oil / MCT
oil you will need to
eat in order to generate ketones; and we don't want you to get a calorie overdose.

coconut kefir, macadamia nuts, walnuts,
coconut wraps, Barlean's key lime swirl fish
oil (as a dessert) some lamb, beef, a bit of chicken occasionally and some veggies.
using cpap and sleeping well on a regular schedule for first time
in years walking an hour each morning before work, and on weekends drinking raw goat's milk, almond milk, and
coconut milk
eating fewer sugary foods including candy bars and fruit (no juices or sodas)
eating less bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, and cereals
eating more meats, cheeses, nuts, avocados, eggs using supplements: vitamin D, probiotics, fish
oil, resveratrol, tumeric (i have amalgam fillings and read the entry by the person who said alpha lipoic acid reacted badly
in combination with amalgam fillings for her friend, so i avoided that supplement just
in case it is true)
