It's no secret that we don't
eat much bread in our house, but when that craving strikes, I usually whip up a loaf of this paleo - friendly banana bread and it hits the spot!
As for serving, I haven't
eaten much bread in years, but if nothing other than a sandwich will do, go for it.
If I'm going to keep
eating this much bread and butter, I'm going to have to get on the treadmill more often!

Actually it's the only way I buy bananas now that I found the «Re-Wraps»... I buy trees of freckled wonders (the clerk always asks if I am making banana
bread and I tell her I own a monkey, «It's my own ritual of getting these treasures home»)... You see we are BIG FANS of hot cereals, Oatmeal, etc... AND there is NOTHING so delicious as a ripe banana in it... We even
eat baked or broiled oatmeal as desserts, with those ripe bananas hidden within like buried treasures... Thank you so

My perfect BLT and the one I grew up
eating (not that there's
much of a differentiation between what you're probably used to), was simple — perfectly ripe farmer's market tomatoes (or garden tomatoes) dusted with a little bit of salt and pepper and layered with crisp iceberg lettuce, at least four pieces of crispy bacon (flimsy bacon is a crime in my household) and then smooched between toasted whole - wheat sandwich
bread smothered with light mayo.
We've gone gluten / casein free to see if it helps with his autism and as
much as I totally wanted to eliminate
bread, I finally just had to accept that he HAD to
eat a peanut butter and honey sandwich at lunch.
I also loved that the base recipe used King's Hawaiian Rolls, which are pretty
much the only type of store - bought
bread I will still
eat.

eaten sweet muffins and made them myself before that were very

He is a strange, mythical creature who eschews home - baked
bread in lieu of the store - bought ones... Apparently, this is also NOT his favourite black
bread, since he doesn't like the seeds (thank goodness I ground them as
much as I could in my magic bullet) and whatever other reasons... Just when I was ready to chuck the freshly - baked round at his head, or
eat my way through the sorrow, he finally

I use my microwave mainly for reheating things as I freeze EVERYTHING —
bread, muffins, cakes etc (being gluten free you have to unless you can
eat fast:P) but I don't usually cook too
much in it as my microwave is horrible.
-- grilled chicken and rainbow greek salad with rice or
bread or potatoes — baked maple garlic salmon with rice and some sort of green veggie (kale, broccoli, cucumber salad)-- homemade burgers from the freezer on the grill (every couple weeks)-- unfortunately,
eating out far too
much — so so so busy!
This is
much better than regular gluten free
bread (which even that I can't
eat, since I'm paleo)- I'll be baking it weekly from now on!
It's
much more filling than regular
bread, so you'll probably only want to
eat a couple of slices, which makes it perfect for sharing with your friends or family.
I try not to
