Food heaven is that you???? I have to admit I can
eat 100 % whole
wheat bread and pasta all day every day and never miss the bleached / refined stuff but the sticky rice with takeout - style food is my bleached
grains pitfall.
Even though properly prepared
grains (i.e. sprouted, soaked or soured) can be part of a healthy diet, for a long time people were getting their «daily recommended
grains» by
eating a large amount of over-processed
wheat.
I also stopped
eating whole
grain wheat.
I love to
eat the plain
wheat cracker straight out of the box - nothing to mask the salty, slightly sweet flavor of
grain.
We
eat only gluten - free
grains & I can tell a differance, after being on refined, whole
wheat products for over half of my life.Plus I liked my sweets way too much.
Check out their website and if you happen to be in the New Haven area, do yourself a favor and stop (if you can
eat wheat occasionally of course), but if you can't for dietary reasons that is A-OK because I have the perfect
grain and gluten - free alternative for you!!

wheat's inflammatory problems.

eat these breads Of course, bear in mind that because
grain - free breads don't have gluten, which is what gives normal
wheat bread the texture it has,
grain - free breads won't be exactly the same, but when the breads are as delicious as this cashew bread, it doesn't really matter!
If you have celiac disease, are gluten intolerant or have a
wheat allergy, you can not

grains, or foods that contain them.
However, I am not completely opposed to
eating grains (except

I can't remember the last time I
ate a pb & j on anything other than whole

Since starting a

eats including cookies, muffins, scones, monkey breads, and cinnamon rolls.
In trying recently to
eat more whole
grains (and basically just less white flour and sugar), I found this recipe for Whole
Wheat Honey Banana Nut Bread.
Those with mild sensitivities to gluten may have luck
eating this ancient
grain as berries or ground into flour because it contains a different genome of gluten than modern
wheat, and it has not been much changed by selective breeding over the millennia (note: spelt is not genetically engineered — a completely different process from selective breeding).
And actually, many people who are following
grain free diets are
eating way too much almond flour (in place of the
wheat).
