It's the perfect kind
of cake to
eat whenever, a cheeky
slice for breakfast with a light smear
of butter, it's got fruit in it remember?
I like to bake a batch in a square
cake tin at the start
of the week,
slice them up ready to
eat and then refrigerate or freeze to enjoy later.
I've come up with a vegan hazelnut carrot
cake recipe that will let you
eat ALL a big
slice of carrot
cake, while still maintaining your ability to hop all over the place.

eat a light protein and carb - filled snack such as tuna fish on a rice
cake or a
slice of sprouted bread with natural almond butter.
But berating yourself for skipping the gym, or

eating properly for weeks at a time, there is nothing wrong with an occasional
slice of cake or indulging in an extra serving
of holiday dinner.

of foods help me feel my best, even if is a cookie or a
slice of cake, because the vitamins and minerals present in the ingredients either naturally help to balance my blood sugar (which is important when consuming treats if you want to avoid an energy crash) or signal to me when I'm full, due to the beneficial fibre found in the ingredients.
I follow a concept called «NSA» or «no strings attached»
eating - not cheating - because I believe that we should be able to enjoy special occasions, a
slice of cake, cocktails or whatever it is - ON PURPOSE, without the guilt.
Apples and celery are great for your health, and I do recommend you
eat them (and all fruits»n veggies) in abundance, but they're not very satisfying replacements for a bar
of chocolate, bag
of potato chips, ice cream, or a
slice of cake.
I've goofed up an otherwise energetic day by

slice of frosting - slathered
cake — it made me feel sluggish and bloated, and I needed a nap an hour later, and then I woke up feeling like I had been hit by a truck.
