I don't know if I should be
eating AIP or Paleo but meat doesn't appeal to me.
When I started I was at a loss for what to eat but now that I've been cooking and
eating AIP foods for over 6 months now, I can assure you I have not starved!
But, then I started
eating AIP paleo.
They are on the autism spectrum and they have been
eating AIP for 2 years.
I have been
eating AIP and now Paleo for about 6 months and am feeling great and am only just starting to explore the dessert side of things.
Obviously, the autoimmune protocol diet is a very nutrient dense diet so chances are that if you are
eating AIP and you don't have any anatomical issues going on like insufficient breast tissue, or a lip or tongue tie, then you probably already have a great foundation for building a healthy milk supply.
Again, since
I eat AiP I do not use tomato sauce or cheese, so I'm not sure how well the breads hold up under wet toppings, but baking until it's crsipy should help.

The
AIP diet is usually a good place to start, but you can modify it to include those foods you * can *
eat (for example, maybe seeds aren't a problem for your little one).
So we may put the mom or the future mom on
AIP, but then the dad is still
eating ice cream and pizza.
If you're going
AIP, you are going Paleo, you're
eating real foods, you could have an entire plate full of broccoli and it may only be 50 calories.
Many rely on nuts as a substitute for reductions made for excessive wheat and carbohydrate loading when transitioning to a whole foods diet or when
eating SCD / GAPS / PALEO /
AIP — if successfully reintroduced.
Because of the extremely restrictive nature of
AIP, it would not be appropriate for those who are at risk of
eating disorders, have food aversions, have numerous other diet - related medical conditions, or are unwilling to make dietary changes.

AIP has helped my Hashi's immensely.
I was already
eating a paleo - type diet before I made the switch to
AIP, and with hindsight I suspect that seeds, nuts and eggs were the main foods still causing me problems.
I have to admit before I started
eating completely
AIP, I was a bit scared.
I was on the verge of trying paleo
AIP, but it's wayyy too strict and I feel that PHD / RS is a way more relaxed way of
eating.
You know, I think we could all benefit from
eating a bit more
AIP whether we have issues or not.

eat, even fewer carbs, and a lot of healthy fats (hel - lo, guacamole!!).

All of that is pretty moot when on a paleo /
AIP diet, as it is so limited that restaurant fare, whether
eat in or dine out, is pretty much a thing of the past.
