She is happy
eating cucumber slices, baby carrots, tomato slices or apples but making her something different to try is important to us.
If a picky eater is more likely to
eat cucumber slices if they're cut into little flower shapes, why not?

I made a goal this month to
eat more veggies, especially raw ones, so I've been taking a baggie of
sliced carrots, celery, and baby
cucumbers to dip in hummus (Oasis roasted garlic with hot sauce) as a snack.
Just
eat it on some
cucumber or carrot
slices.

We really love the thinly
sliced onions in this
cucumber tomato salad recipe as well, but if you're one of those folks who just doesn't like to
eat raw onions you can certainly leave them out.
Oh, and in case anyone doubts the effectiveness of having one's scale in the kitchen, I'll have you know that today I
ate an entire
sliced cucumber with carrot - ginger dressing as a snack instead of the mini Milky Way bars I originally went in there for.
