The sad fact is that the average modern woman would improve her diet if she followed the recommendations in these books, simply because she would cut back on the
refined sugar,
white flour and hydrogenated vegetable oils and
eat more vegetables.
We need insulin whether we are
eating natural forms of
sugars and carbohydrates (fruit, veggies, raw honey, gluten - free grains, etc.) or
white,
refined sugars (pastries, juice, candy, soft drinks, etc.).
