First
off, I want to list
are few factors that might help us save verses what you may
be dealing with: 1) I live
in Montana, where there
is no tax on anything and we can go out and shoot our own game during hunting season; 2) my kids
are small — my oldest
is 5; 3) we
eat very simple meals, definitely not 3 course, sometimes we just
eat mashed potatoes for dinner!
In the spirit of making healthy
eating more of a habit & everyday occurrence rather than short strong bursts of «
being good» followed by falling
off the wagon, I
am always on the hunt for delicious snacks and meals that
are easy and fun to incorporate into daily life.
Going by the results of the experiment described above, it would seem that one might
be better
off from the standpoint of tooth decay to
eat a diet containing refined sugar and flour than to
eat one that
is high
in whole grains.
