On Monday I went out to
eat with a few
friends to try out the new vegan menu at Zizzi's, I had a pizza
with balsamic onions, olives, mushrooms and vegan cheese, the cheese once melted was more of a creamy sauce, but the whole
meal was really delicious nonetheless.
I find it difficult to decide whether I should have a blissful shower,
eat a proper
meal (maybe sit down too if I am lucky), maybe catch up on mount laundry or
with my gal
friend.
We also feed kids who are responsible for getting themselves to school and appreciate a warm
meal, as well as kids who just enjoy
eating breakfast
with their
friends.
Led by headteachers, supported by a committed bursar or business manager and passionate school cooks, these schools are focusing on the things that encourage children and parents to opt for a school
meal: great food; social aspects such as short queues and being able to
eat with friends; a nice place to
eat; affordable prices; school food being seen as the cool or attractive thing to go for.
I also think of my
friend M., who comes from a large, close - knit family, and whose sister delivered her baby — after two days of labor — right there in M.'s cozy guest bedroom (she could smell the scent of homemade pasta being cooked downstairs and, once the baby was born, everyone
