'm just not entirely
sure about, and I also think the newer version of Calibre
is missing or has changed certain
things; for instance, I can't find the option to maintain my cover
's image dimensions (unless that
's because I
'm outputting to mobi instead of epub), which leads me to my additional question: How do I stop Calibre from constantly resizing my 1600 × 2400 image (what I've read
is ideal size for use through any
ebook distribution channel) down to 1333x???? (sorry, not at my computer at present so can't remember the dimensions it shrinks it to).
This would mean that the only
thing you need to do to make
sure an
ebook is okay
is to load it and see.
I can't speak for them, but I
'm pretty
sure HMH
was seeing the same
thing I
was: I should
be selling a lot more
ebooks than I
am.

One
thing for
sure is that publishing an
eBook is much faster than publishing the traditional way.

eBook is that it makes
sure the library along with all the bookmarks of a user to

As I've noted before, one of the great

ebooks is the ability to have more flexibility in pricing — I

sure why I or you or anyone would want to choke off that flexibility on either end of the price scale.

I did a quick search and couldn't find e-books on the Barnes & Noble site (it appears they no longer support
ebooks), amazon.ca had strange results, and Foyles, God love them, didn't seem overly
sure there
were such
things.

thing is I

sure it
's the ideal
ebook reader but it
is so many other
things already and I like everyone
am waiting for more ipad apps... bottom line; if you can afford it, it
's a wonderful e-gadget to have, and you will find great ways to use it.
