Ebook borrowing in public librairies is very popular here, and librairies offer nice and accessible platforms developped by DeMarque, a world leader in the industry.
Just think about it:
an ebook borrowed in KU is more visible than an ebook simply bought, because the borrowed book doesn't have to be read to count as a sale, and the KU subscribers will download many more ebooks for a lower price.

borrow from the library is the same reason you would want to buy a print book rather than check it out — you want to re-read it or you want to have your copy — whether physically on the bookshelf
in your home or on the shelf of your ereader.
The concerns raised by some parties are that the ease of
ebook borrowing to handheld devices will have a dramatic impact on libraries, specifically
in a massive reduction of the numbers of patrons who need to actually go to their local community libraries.

Essentially, the leadership finally expressed that it was fed up with the current upheaval
in public library
ebook lending, with different members of the Big Six publishing houses setting their own rules — from no lending of our new titles, to a book can only be
borrowed a specific number of times, to no lending of any of our titles at all — it was chaos for the libraries and disappointment for their patrons.

in terms of impact on sales by Sourcebooks, the program is going to attempt to demonstrate once - and - for - all the effects of letting people
