I usually serve this with some organic
edamame on the side so we get some good quality protein as well.
For example, you can keep some Quest bars, nuts, or roasted
edamame on - hand for those days when you do not have time to plan fresher snacking alternatives.

Spread
the edamame on a rimmed baking sheet and bake about 10 to15 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the cheese begins to brown.
I served it with rice and
edamame on the side, so good!

Another twist
on hummus: I once saw a recipe in the NY Times Sunday magazine for
edamame «hummus», where soy beans were substituted for chickpeas and rice vinegar was added.

edamame, corn and chopped peppers
on a baking sheet and added a finely diced scallion, chopped garlic, a pinch of salt, a pinch of black pepper and a drizzle of olive oil.
This vegetarian fried rice doubles down
on the soy with tofu and
edamame (and sprouts, if you like).

edamame pesto was also a huge hit
on its own with all the dinner guests.

on using up stale bread... If you are thinking of a post to «use up your veggie leftovers» this recipe would be great and is probably pretty versatile with substitutions (spinach for kale, green beans for

A friend brought me back a bag of this seaweed salt from France, and outside of sprinkling it
on steamed
edamame, I wasn't quite sure what to do with it.
In a small saucepan of boiling salted water cook beans, covered, over moderate heat, stirring occasionally, until just tender (5 - 20 minutes, depending
on the bean: cranberries boiled for about 15;
edamame's were actually microwaved for just a couple of minutes).
