Having said that, the Fire Phone has an appealing design: Corning (s glw) Gorilla Glass 3 on the front and back with a rubberized, curved
edge around the sides.
There's also chamfered
edges around the sides.
The curved
edges around the sides of the device have a nice texture to them and are easy to grip, and the reflective chamfered frame is subtle, but just nice enough to notice.
Similarly, Samsung Galaxy S9's edge - to - edge screen looks stunning, but I am still not convinced we need the curved
edges around the sides of the phone.
