There is a difference between
editing a
book and forcing an author
to change his
book because it doesn't meet whatever agenda the publisher might have.

editing my inspirational
book, and hired professional
editing services, and though they are not copy editors, he did question the content of several paragraphs and made suggestions as
to the
changes that were needed for more clarity.

book's status, in your Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) Console, from Live
to In Review.

change the size of the font, instead you have a clunky ZOOM function and no ability

book can slow down depending on what the author decides
to change and rework after feedback.

I was most impressed by the way Cassie: 1) continued the
editing process until I'd made every single
change, 2) explained
to me the rationale behind her perfect recommendations (without prompting), 3) offered praise when she read parts of the
book that touched her or those too important
to change, and 4) summarized general recommendations on ways
to make the
book even better.
Fiona and I could always
edit the images in question, but everything we put into the

to advance our story, not (just)
to shock or titillate, so we're not
