By the time the mass market
edition of the book came out the following year, we'd received hundreds of letters and phone calls from people who identified with our story.

The first order for the U.S.
edition of my most recent
book, Management Challenges for the 21st Century (1999),
came to Amazon.com, and it
came from Argentina.

Though bioethicists may continue their academic debates for decades to
come, there is no need to cause unnecessary confusion among couples navigating a rocky enough road as it is, so I hope these sections may be amended in future

came from friends, La Leche League, childbirth educators, midwives, and

Well, as an addicted reader I prefer to have always to versions
of book I currently read, I just simply can't make a choice when it
comes to buying the print
edition OR getting the e-
book.
The change from «BitLit» to «Shelfie» in the company's branding
came with the technology the company has used to «read» a consumer's shelf by having the reader take a photo
of the
book spines on her or his bookshelf, and then informing that customer
of which ebook or audiobook

Clearly, one

book come out in an ebook - only
edition will be lucky to be displayed on the front page
of the publisher's ebook website for a week.

of the Ether: Hugh Howey's first
book of the Wool trilogy, the original five - novella omnibus, has just
come out in its U.S. hardcover and paperback
editions from Simon & Schuster.
Considerations like which printing, by which publisher or imprint, and whether the pagination
comes from the hard or soft cover
edition will affect decisions about its usefulness (e.g., does it exactly match the pagination
of a print
book used in a classroom).

It's interesting, I have been buying ebooks ever since the first
edition of the kindle
came out and my purchase
of physical
books has gradually dwindled down to zero.
A print
edition is also part
of Waid's digital strategy, but it
comes later in the process, after he has made back the cost
of producing the
book via digital media.
