worked at the Calgary Herald
in the 1980s and, by coincidence, penned a column about the $ 1 home sale phenomenon
in the paper's 1983 Christmas Eve
edition (a close friend was forced to sell his newly built home
in the city's Shawnessy neighbourhood for a buck).
As a result, a Canadian publisher is considering launching his
edition of this
work (to which he does not have the rights)
in the US rather than at home
in Canada.

in his early thirties at All Soul's College at Oxford; the person who issues the new
edition is Rollins Professor of History at Princeton, the most renowned student of Augustine

in a fresh translation, published as volumes X and XV of Kierkegaard's Writings, a major project under the direction of Howard V. and Edna H. Hong of St. Olaf College and an International Advisory Board to bring out «a definitive, systematically translated, scholarly
edition» of Søren Kierkegaard's
works.
Many of these developments have been traced out recently
in the
work of Tibebe Eshete and Jörg Haustein and a special
edition of the journal PentecoStudies dedicated to Ethiopian Pentecostalism.
The third German
edition is the final revision Conzelmann intends to make and so is the definitive
edition of this
work, the classic
in its field.
Bonhoeffer also believed that the concept of God as a «supreme Being, absolute
in power and goodness,» was a «spurious conception of transcendence,» and that «God as a
working hypothesis
in morals, politics, and science... should be dropped, or as far as possible eliminated» (Letters and Papers from Prison, S.C.M. Press
edition, Great Britain: Fontana Books, 1953, pp. 122, 164, 360).

work History of the Synoptic Tradition (Harper & Row, 1963) has been available
in English for over a decade, and was joined
in 1971 by an

DeSalvo, whose previous

Several of the Roman Catholic

in n. 2 appeared first

Since all of Whitehead's theologically relevant
works are readily available
in inexpensive
editions, there is very little from them
in this book.

in a collected

Edition) by Hutchinson
in London and by Macmillan and Random House
in New York.
