The worst thing I have witnessed in education in 2008 is the continuous action based on personal interests and advantages of many local and global economic and political players losing the main objective of «
education as a fun activity,» and thus of encouraging and inspiring young children through play and simple but innovative teaching methods that foster critical thinking, teamwork, and the urge to learn more for the sake of learning and not for meeting set standards.
September is National Disaster Preparedness month and VRCC and Antech Diagnostics saw this
as a perfect opportunity to bring the Colorado veterinary community together, engage in team building
activities and have a ton of
fun, all while helping give back to a great organization, PetAid Colorado Disaster Services, who plays a key role in animal evacuation and pet care needs during natural disasters
as well
as education in disaster preparedness for Coloradans and their pets.
