Central Ohio Pit Savers created the Shelter Diversion Program in conjunction with the Franklin County Dog Shelter to decrease the number of
animals surrendered to the shelter by providing resources to dog owners, including (but not limited to)

education, pet food and other supplies, advice
on finding a new home for a dog (rehoming), funding for veterinary services (when funding is available), and pet retention services such as fixing fences to prevent lost dogs.
