The commission,
cochaired by Mariano - Florentino Cuéllar, a Stanford Law School professor, and Chris Edley, the dean of the University of California — Berkeley Law School, was charged two years ago by Congress with providing advice to the U.S. Department of Education on addressing disparities in
educational opportunities.
