A study was conducted by the authors to investigate the
educational benefits of this approach to
educational leadership and professional learning
communities (PLCs).
Therefore, the authors use their collective insight to propose a widespread shift in how
educational leaders, school
leadership teams, teachers, students, parents, and the
community think about and talk about what it takes to improve schools.
Many
educational leadership programs have or are developing partnerships with local schools and districts in an effort to increase the relevancy of their preparation programs to the particular needs of local
