effective» teachers of SEND», but also supports those professionals who need to extend their abilities to become the adaptive, flexible thinkers that schools and their pupils need.
To stand a chance of improving success — and hence being demonstrably cost -
effective (we have to keep the accountants happy)--
cpd should be: well - planned, carefully paced and thoroughly evaluated (preferably before yet another new idea is introduced to the school).
Although some may not have a degree nor QTS, they are still highly
effective and thoroughly trained (making the assumption a school places value on
CPD) in what they do.
