player moving into midfield when on the ball in order to retain possession for his side and start attacks in an
effective and efficient way.
My thoughts the wide
players, Sanchez and Campbell didn't track their full
backs at all Bayern have only one game plan... long ball to switch play to the wings... they aren't really that
effective when you nullify their wide areas which neither or fullbacks nor our wingers did....

I think he's the natural starting SF for this team going forward when Lavine comes
back because you're going to need a

When they are played as # 10's they are some of the best
players in the world, but when they are played on the wing or further
back in the midfield they are drastically less
effective and do boarder on being absolutely useless at times.
Bring in a DM; We have the enforcer in Coq who wants to stay
back and is very
effective in that role, now maybe add someone who can stay
back but is more of a ball
player (can only think of Schneiderlin) so that in some matches we can play both and in others we can pick and choose.

Zanetti was known as «El Tractor» for his tireless energetic runs up and down the flanks but it was a his incredible defensive skill set where he was superb at reading the play, winning the ball
back and man marking combine that with a two footed
player who could play on either flank and as
effective going forward as he was while defending.

backs enables United's flair
players to find the space that they require to be
