Whey is composed
of the same basic
proteins that are found in human breast
milk and has the same side
effects profile as human breast
milk.
Given all this, it seems unlikely that casein's
effects on cancer apply to other forms
of milk protein — much less all animal
protein at large.
In fact, the highest quality
proteins in terms
of their anticatabolic / anabolic
effects (Read: the best for gaining muscle / losing fat) are apparently various blends
of proteins derived from
milk and eggs.

proteins» published in AJCN in 2004 demonstrates the
effects of different
proteins.
If they were created using the animal
proteins of egg,
milk and whey, then we can expect them to have the same negative
effect.
The
effects of casein — particularly isolated casein, separated from other components
of dairy that often work synergistically — can't be generalized to all forms
of milk protein, much less all forms
of animal
protein.

Raw
milk casein is made out
of a complex group
of protein clusters called micelles, which are bound with calcium, phosphate, and citrate ions and exist at a neutral pH
of approximately 6.6, roughly the same as your body's pH. Native Micellar Casein complements your body's acid - base balance and will not cause an acidic
effect.
The
protein profile may be at play here, and as soy has a very similar
protein profile to that
of animal products, including
milk, we can assume that almond
milk and others would not have the same
effect.

effect.
The positive
effects of this diet in a number
of children and adults are likely linked to the recent discovery that some individuals with autism are sensitive to common food
proteins such as those found in wheat and

The authors wrote, «The
protein content
of the
milk supplement may have a negative
effect on calcium balance, possibly through an increase in kidney losses
of calcium or through a direct
effect on bone resorption... this may have been due to the average 30 percent increase in

The negative
effects seem to lie in the capacity
of some foods / nutrients to stimulate proliferative pathways that in turn stimulate development
of acne — suspect foods include those with a high glycaemic load and
milk.11, 43, 44 Other evidence comes from several studies reporting that the prevalence
of acne varies significantly between different populations and is substantially lower in non-Westernized populations that follow traditional diets, 45 a common factor among these traditional diets being a low glycaemic load.46 Various studies have provided evidence that high - glycaemic - load diets are implicated in the aetiology
of acne through their capacity to stimulate insulin, androgen bioavailability and insulin - like growth factor - 1 (IGF - 1) activity, whereas the beneficial
effects of low - glycaemic - load diets, apart from weight and blood glucose levels, also include improved skin quality.44 The clinical and experimental evidence does in fact suggest ways in which insulin can increase androgen production and affect via induction
of steroidogenic enzymes, 47 the secretion by the pituitary gland
of gonadotropin - releasing hormone and the production
of sex hormone - binding globulin.48 Insulin is also able to reduce serum levels
of IGF - binding
protein - 1 increasing the
effect of IGF - 1.49 These insulin - mediated actions can therefore influence diverse factors that underlie the development
of acne such as:

We compared the

This is possibly a result
of higher levels
of flavonoids in dark chocolate and an inhibitory
