No doubt the same thing is happening along
much of the west coast of Canada, which is why China's sanctioning of coal to liquid technology to produce
transportation fuel is directly significant to North Americans, and why it is so important to help China become more reliant on
efficient processes and products.
But most importantly, the Prius is just the beginning of a
much longer transition away from fossil fuels and toward electrification, which is a more
efficient way to do things, and allows the use of many clean and renewable source of energy for
transportation (which is harder to do with the internal combustion engine).
