egg recipes over on the British Lion Eggs website.
We finally got around to making the shirred
egg recipe over the weekend.
Not exact matches
I have made
over forty variations on the basic
recipe (the BC cake mix,
eggs, butter and vanilla) and have made and given away at least 500 dozen.
We served it
over Ginger Rice (
recipe included), but it's versatile enough to pair with brown rice,
egg noodles or even mashed potatoes.
Christmas morning brunch seems to be on the rise... we do that now too... we actually started it about 3 Christmas» ago because we don't have anyone
over on Christmas morning... it is just our small family... so we sleep in, open gifts then eat... anyway... I already do a hashbrown casserol that I pulled together the
recipe for from other places... and it is a perfect addition... you can have anything else you want; ham, bacon,
eggs, bisuits or toast... all is good together... but, we only do this once or twice a year... really good!
I doubled the
recipe, and the resulting cake weighed about thirty pounds and included
over a dozen
eggs and an entire forest of lemons!
The
recipe also calls for chile powder sprinkled
over the
eggs for seasoning.
Several folks have mentioned that
eggs are not on the ingredient list but looking
over the
recipe I see them there, just below the butter.
After reading
over the many reviews, I decided to combine
recipe variations and came up with this: 1
egg white beaten, 1/4 c. granulated sugar, 1/4 c. packed dark brown sugar, 1/2 t cinnamon, 1/4 t cloves, and 1/4 t cayenne pepper.
I got 5 servings from spooning the
recipe generously
over egg noodles.

Instead, I tweaked the
recipe over time to include buckwheat, garbanzo or garbanzo / fava flour for extra protein without another topping, and aquafaba as an
egg alternative.

I searched all
over for a vegan pancake
recipe for my
egg sensitive children.
We're totally on an
eggs kick right now too (we made quail
eggs benedict with pancetta and brioche for this past Sunday's brunch), so we'll definitely be trying this
recipe over the weekend.
Traditionally this sauce is used
over enchiladas, burritos,
eggs for breakfast, or chiles rellenos, but its's also is a tasty addition to nontraditional
recipes as well.
In my research for this
recipe, I DID stumble on a neat little garnishign trick I am going to use and I just wanted to share... Instead of sprinkling the paprika
over the finished
egg, sprinkle it BEFORE the yolks have been piped in (P.S. I totally use a Ziploc sandwich bag - easier getting in the bag and no mess afterward when I throw the bag out)!
Here's what you do — turn
over a package of Nèstlé Tollhouse chocolate chips, sub out the butter and
eggs in that
recipe, and voilà!
Also nicoise salad... I've started boiling fingerling potatoes &
eggs, steaming green beans & making the dressing
over the weekend (dressing from the nicoise salad
recipe in the Joy of Cooking).
Can't thank you enough for this
recipe — I've been using it for a little
over a year now, and it definitely works better than the commercial
egg replacer powders... bakes like a dream, and works great in vegan bean - burgers, falafel, etc...

I've seen and have eaten a lot of these

over the past two or three years, but I've never tried a vegan version.
I have tried a number of riffs on this
recipe over the years (replacing some of the cheese with roasted butternut squash puree, replacing some of the butter with sour cream or cream cheese, using more
eggs, fewer
eggs, using whole milk or even cream in place of evaporated milk).
This simple bolognese sauce
recipe is an easy make - ahead sauce that keeps nicely in the refrigerator or freezer until ready to heat and serve

If you double the

over the past few weeks we kept eating it while still frozen, and I realised it was actually a pretty amazing strawberry ice cream cake — minus all the dairy,
eggs and refined sugar of course!
But this is one of those

over because they can not BELIEVE it's vegan.

Was searching up ways to use up the
egg yolks left
over from my matcha macaroons and came across this lovely
recipe.
** I first started making this when I had a bunch of
egg yolks left
over from some of our other
recipes and it's a great way to use up unneeded yolks!
