used ground

egg you can
use flaxseed, applesauce, water, banana, or pumpkin.
I
used the
flaxseed and water substitution in zucchini loaf and my husband loved it better than the when I
used eggs.
Instead of
using eggs, this nut free vegan fruit slice
uses mashed banana and
flaxseed to bind the slice.
If aquafaba isn't your thing, you could
use the «flax
egg» mixture I
use in my Cashew Butter Snickerdoodles, but know that there will be a difference in flavor from the
flaxseed.

Haven't personally tried it, but I think you can
use a mix of ground
flaxseed meal and water to replace

used butternut squash instead of pumpkin; I substituted coconut oil for butter, almond milk for milk, and
flaxseed gel for

As for swapping out the
egg, I would try

They work as a binder, so you could replace with
flaxseeds, or if you're not vegan, just
use a regular chicken
egg and omit the water.

Last time I made the muffin with a
flaxseed egg replacement but in this recipe I am
using the magic
egg replacement called aquafaba.
If you don't want to
use it here or don't have any,
use another
egg replacer powder (Bob's Red Mill's product comes to mind) or
flaxseed meal.
