elastic waist makes it harder to style these skirts because without a thoroughly synched in
waist, even the thinnest of girls might look short and stubby.
This dress works so well due to two design details: firstly, it has a ruched
waist with an
elastic panel that can stretch or constrict

elastic waistband allows you to wear it both
as a high -
waist or low -
waist skirt.
My only complaint is that the
elastic waist band did become frayed (not broken but wavy from stretching - see pic) by the end of the week but
as I said, I was doing manual labor, wore a fanny pack over it and there was likely a lot of tugging and rubbing on the strap from carrying buckets of mixed concrete.
