and in standard form the
XDS electronic diff doesn't have the settings of its big brother Golf Gti, but rather the same setting as the 1.0 Polo.
There's plenty of grip; the XDS
+ electronic diff helps provide plenty of that traction at the front.
Essentially the car uses the same drivetrain found in the Volkswagen Scirocco R and employs a
trick electronic diff (XDS) to try and hose down that firecracker of an engine.

Taking advantage of
the electronic diff, the all - wheel - drive system's Intelligent Driveline Dynamics control makes sure power is further fed to the right tire, at the right time.
The quicker steering rack, Brembo brakes and
the electronic diff are very welcome additions.
New for a GTI in Australia is
the electronic diff, badged as XDL, which is supposed to offer improved grip and reduce understeer.
Up front is still an open,
electronic diff.
The XDS,
an electronic diff thingy, is all Golf, however.
Move up to the Leon SE and SEAT throws in ambient interior lighting, leather steering wheel and gear knob, chrome detailing in the cabin, cornering front fogs, Cruise, 16 ″ alloys, Hill Hold and XDS
electronic diff.
The 47:53 % weight distribution,
the electronic diff lock, the ground - hugging centre of gravity, and the aluminium double - wishbone suspension make the car feel agile and alert, involving and inspiring.
At $ 20,450 in Germany, it's still got a lot of good stuff in it, including air - conditioning,
an electronic diff lock, seven airbags, a rear spoiler, the sports suspension, 15 - inch alloy wheels and the second - crash - dodging post-collision automatic braking system.
Understeer is kept well in check, and if you concentrate you can just about feel the effect of
the electronic diff coming out of tight corners.
It also features torque vectoring — so it can brake or send power to individual wheels — and

the electronic diff, Hill descent Control and Hill Start Assist have been added to beef up its capabilities.
