The electronic image stabilization doesn't seem to help much, and there are some white balance issues.
Video quality in general feels about the same, as the electronic image stabilization doesn't do a great job of keeping the image stable in any situation I tried.

In its December Reddit AMA, Essential announced it would also release an update to add EIS (

There is an EIS (
Electronic Image Stabilization) for video recording instead of OIS (Optical
Image Stabilization), and that doesn't even help in stabilizing the recording.
If you're use to using it you can enable the HDR feature which you'll find on the left side of the camera UI when in standard photo mode, and although the camera doesn't have Optical
Image Stabilization it
does have
Electronic Image Stabilization which helps a bit in situations like this one.
