Bonuses from the cards range from healing up,
elemental weapon damage, and defense up.
Bringing the right
elemental weapon damage to battle (or simply not bringing the wrong one) can be enormously helpful.

I decided to hold off on explaining
elemental damage and status effects which are a big reason to actually use S & S. I am confident these topics will be covered in future episodes once
weapons with these attributes are available to us.
Other
weapons are good for dealing with armored enemies or adding in
elemental damage.
Enemies can drop variations of these
weapons with different passive skills, such as a higher chance to drop a
weapon with more skill slots, dealing extra
elemental damage, or dealing extra
damage with a specific combo.
Deviljho's
weapons look to be powerful end - game equipment, boasting strong dragon
elemental damage along with high Elderseal.
The DS are fast - hitting
weapons that are good for extended comboing, the best
weapon for status /
elemental, and can get off high amounts of
damage in a short amount of time.
In general,
elemental weapons (even other raw
weapons) will eventually give more
damage overtime than slime
weapons.
Of the four classes are the Apprentice, magic user employing high
damage dealing
elemental towers; the Squire, who takes the hordes with a sword while being backed by meaty blockades; the Huntress, with ranged
weapon in hand and powerful multi-use traps; and lastly the Monk, support class extraordinaire, able to use both ranged and melee attacks and summon auras which apply affects or
damage over a wide area.
The pack contains «modifications to increase the accuracy and
damage of your
weapon, and add
elemental resistances to your outfit.
They also have some sweet
weapons such as Chakrams which are circular discs they can throw and slice with, again delivering
elemental damage.
Loot boxes in Destiny 2 are called Bright Engrams and stashed within these boxes are a number of mods that confer some particularly powerful benefits, such as ability cooldown reduction or the ability to change the
elemental damage type of an Energy or Power
weapon.

If there's anything I wish is that I wish it was more apparent what the elements do and how
elemental damage comes into play, Right now armor / different
weapons are practically cosmetic only 6 hours into the game as I can keep fortifying my Stygian bow for example.
Magic was instead stocked as a consumable item and could be used alongside summoned creatures to enhance statistics and add
elemental damage or statuses to
weapon attacks.
Of course, it wouldn't be a Borderlands game without gazillions of new guns, but not just guns, all - new
weapon and
elemental damage types.
Destiny 2's
weapon systems have also been reworked, with primary, secondary and heavy
weapons replaced by a new system: where primaries take up two slots, one has
elemental damage, and stronger
weapons are all lumped into a third category (named kinetic, energy and power).
Each
weapon type also has a variant based on the Behemoth it comes from, and it usually comes with the same
elemental damage as the monster.
The
weapon can switch after filling up the
weapon's phial gauge, which will slowly deplete overtime when using the sword mode, and allows the sword to deal
elemental damage in the form of a discharge.
The sequel adds a deeper and more involved experience, adding a ton of mods for
weapons that span from
damage and crit multipliers to
elemental effects and a wealth of chi skills.
Some gems might grant your
weapon an
elemental edge to its attack, for example, but equipping that same gem to your armour will reduce the
damage taken by that same element instead.
From normal
weapons with different
damage outputs, reload speeds, accuracy, and more, to more powerful and explosive
weapons with status and
elemental effects like fire, corrosion, lighting and others, there is something for everyone here.
Increased the frost look of Husks which have been
damaged by an ice
weapon, to better differentiate them from Husks which are Ice
Elemental based.
Just how effective is hitting a monster's
elemental weakness if it means using a
weapon with lower physical
damage?
Some of the new mechanics during battle we're excited for are the character swap outs during fights,
weapons / armor breaking,
elemental damage and more.
For additional
damage, use
weapons that have Dragon or Thunder
elemental damage.
If you want your character to look like a rogue, the dual blades are also a good option if you like buffing your
weapon with
elemental damage.
