What needs to be done up there that isn't already done AND if you knew you are
going to live eternally, then wouldn't that be an equally insidious idea where you could keep putting off things you want to get done
in favor of something
else?
That said, even Chemistry.com is having these free event far less often than they did
in 2010... so I'm not sure if the free weekends are falling out of
favor or if something
else is
going on.
Price competition won't
go away, and with a by - now huge and - still - growing market of indie books that practice price competition - and - which are (no matter hows publishers and pundits try to deny it) increasingly indistinguishable from traditionally published books
in terms of packaging and writing / editing quality, publishers need to come up with an argument
in favor of higher pricing that - readers - find convincing, or
else lower prices.
And
in case you're wondering, for several of my playthroughs of the demo (yes, I played it numerous times for the purposes of this write - up) I
went with a warrior / mage style build,
favoring the mages staff above
else, because
in Amalur mages are seriously badass.
My guess is that the case
went in the doctor's
favor, or
else Whitecoat would not be starting down the blogging path.
