The Tortorella Foundation supports many efforts by underwriting unique programs that promote adoptions,

As one of The HSUS's
Emergency Placement Partners, the Northern Virginia
shelter not only reaps the rewards of being able to give downtrodden
dogs a second chance, but they score a bevy of other benefits, too.
Post flyers at your local veterinary offices,
emergency clinics,
shelters, humane societies, groomers, pet supply stores, kennels, any other
dog - related businesses, and
dog parks.
The lives of 121
dogs were saved that day, with 117 taken to the Tennessee Fairgrounds, which served as an
emergency shelter — the remaining
dogs are currently in state's custody.
ARC transported the
dogs from this rescue, dubbed Operation Fall Freedom, to the
emergency shelter in Lebanon, TN, already set up to house and care for
dogs and cats from rescues ARC executed on October 13 in Weakley County, where 36 animals were rescued from neglectful situations.
ARC documented all of the animals and the conditions on the property and transported the
dogs to the
emergency shelter set up for this rescue, dubbed Operation Summer Saves, in Lebanon, TN, about 40 minutes east of Nashville where they were already caring for the 32
dogs rescued five days ago in Morgan County.
Our latest effort includes teaming up with the ASPCA to save 30 homeless
dogs and puppies from an
emergency shelter on St. Croix (USVI).
Today, 32 unowned
shelter cats and
dogs from the
emergency facility were relocated to Young - Williams Animal Center to be placed in foster homes before being made available for adoption.
