As a dog owner, the one thing I know about dogs is you can have three boxes full of dog toys and the pup will want to gnaw on your new furniture leg, expensive shoes,
the ends of kitchen cabinets... anything other than their toys.
I loved the look of the corner windows, but there isn't much space before running into
the end of the kitchen cabinets or the door to the laundry room.
For just $ 25 per double roll, I had enough to do
the ends of my kitchen cabinets, master bath cabinets, and a wall in the guest bath.
Right now, we're envisioning a round table and banquette seating in that empty corner at
the end of the kitchen cabinets.
The only suggestion I would make is to add a bracket under
the end of the kitchen cabinet (like the ones under the bar) to finish off the brick backsplash!
A small desk tucked into a nook at one

When it comes to upgrading our homes, there is a never -
ending list
of things to do, from buying new patio furniture to replacing the
kitchen cabinets.
Toward the
kitchen end, she designed a built - in
cabinet to stow bar tools and glassware, which is in easy reach
of a large island, a perfect workspace for shaking and stirring.
Kitchen is at one
end of this room with a black beadboard island and painted distressed cream
cabinets and black / brown granite counters.
I have always loved an open
cabinet built - in to the
end of a
kitchen island.
Initially, these drawers were designed to be custom made wider, but the
cabinet maker did not properly follow the design and the measurements so during the installation
of the
kitchen we realized that we were
ending up with a 20 cmm empty spot at the right side
of the
kitchen.
I had agonized over every finish in this
kitchen, from the color and species
of the hardwoods, to the glaze on the
cabinets and the backsplash tile at the very
end.
The entire
kitchen is designed with storage in mind and has implemented a few unique storage areas on the back wall in addition to the huge
cabinets on the
ends of the island.
Plan to have two tall
cabinets at one
end of counter (we have a U shaped
kitchen)-- each
cabinet has an upper
cabinet and lower
cabinet with 2 drawers between the
cabinets; will keep my remaining upper
cabinets; however, I wouldn't mind doing away with them.
Granite worktops are not cut after the
kitchen cabinets have been installed, we will create a template for these towards the
end of the final fitting.
Medium oak
cabinets in the
kitchen bathrooms and «linen»
cabinet at the
end of the hallway will be painted some white or light in keeping with the style
of my house plus my choice in floor color (can't be hardwood but I'm learning toward wood - look porcelain tile similar to what Kate at CentsationalGirl did in her Nevada home.

After using it so successfully on the
ends of my

cabinets, I was itching to try it in some other spots and this bathroom makeover seemed like the perfect place to do that.
