Player.

quality cover for our ever injured
players.
I quite agree sell all the deadwoods but which
player in his right mind would want to come to arsenal at the moment, remember people man u was in the same situation under moyes but we're able to attract better
player's even when not playing champions league, the selling point from arsenal point of view is to tell
players which they are trying to get what the plan is of getting back to top flight football by going for the Europa league over the FA cup and finishing in the top six otherwise if they go for wishy - washy arsene wenger stupid attitude of we've got
quality all the squad we are competing for everything then I'm afraid We will
end up with nothing

quality player is available to snatch up.
It's difficult to blame Ozil for the difficulties he's faced at Arsenal without looking at the big picture... like the fans, he too was lied to by Wenger... there is no doubt in my mind that he was told by Wenger that he was trying desperately to recreate our earlier success by acquiring
players that fit the system he ran when Henry was in his prime... as we know this hasn't happened... in order for Ozl to flourish he needs some speed up front, forwards that can make intelligent runs, a boss in the midfield to compensate for his obvious defensive liabilities and defenders who can transition from defence to offence quickly and efficiently... much like he had in Real and with the German National squad... unfortunately he
ended up on a squad that has a striker who plays with his back to goal, very few intelligent runs into the box, minus Sanchez, no one to take pressure off him in the midfield, once Cazorla was injured, average defensive midfielders around him, which simply highlighted his lacking defensive
qualities and defenders who lack the necessary cutting edge when it comes to transitional passing... instead of blaming Ozil, which is simply too easy, especially considering his mopey disposition, we should be asking ownership and / or Wenger why they brought him in if they didn't intend on doing what was necessary to get the best from him... can you imagine Ozil playing with the likes of Henry, Viera, Petit and Pires, it would be incredibly to watch and even more difficult to stop... so the only thing different between his experiences in Real and with the German team versus his time at Arsenal are the
players around him and we all know who is in charge of making those decisions, the Grinch who stole soccer
Reid, who was quoted in the Daily Mail, said: «We have good forward
players like Ross Barkley and Adam Lallana to come back but at the other
end, when Phil Jones lost the ball at 0 - 0, if we were against top
quality opposition, we would have been 1 - 0 down.
wenger is a legend in his own mind so other peoples opinions... fans, ex
players, journalists, etc... have no bearing on his greatness or the righteousness of his own decisions... from
end of last season it was clear we needed two
quality attacking options to put up a serious challenge (getting rid of walcott and campbell or ox and bringing in a serious upgrade over giroud) instead he brought in another midfield option (having done the same in the winter window) which only makes sense in his own delusional world rather than the reality of facing up to serious and strengthening competitors and which defines the job at hand....
If there are
quality English
players out there then by all means try and get them, try and produce them from our academy, but if we
end up playing an Arsenal team with 10 foreign
players and 1 English
player I'm really not that bothered, and I'm English.
I would let Ramsey go for free and buy Forsberg from Leipzig who is more accomplished as a footballer and take over from Carzola even his counterpart who is heading to Liverpool next summer (Naby Keita) is way better than Ramsey and Wilshire combine — when you come to wenger's approach in the past it tells it all he never really intended to bring in
quality players he was just giving fans false hopes and played mind games when they happened to
end up somewhere else he will come outwith BS like we almost sign him
At the
end of the day it is also down to the
players to switch that losing mentality, show some ambition, self belief individually and at a team level that the
quality is there.
any
quality german
player ends up at bayern or dortmund - if draxler does nt - its cos bayern said no - which in itself would be telling
Why not sign Chicharito and put an
end to this hulabaloo. The guy has
quality and I've watched him enough to know he's not the kind of
player who'll be missing chances. His best attribute is his movement and speed. He finishes chances off like world class
players and can beat his man very well.In fact he always causes trouble and keeps opposition
players on their toes.

quality player but for sometime (even during the

player.

quality of
player or we will

players from the Swiss league.
Arsenal has depth, but it isn't
quality squad depth, Rosiscky, Cazorla, Ozil all play the same position and neither of them add a great deal more than the other, our midfield is stoked but the areas we actually need depth in are barren, we have no solid defensive midfielder with our usual reliance on a CAM moved back, as a result
players like Ramsey and Wilshere who are box to box
players end up creating more imbalance in an already unbalanced team.
He bought cheap
players but majority were very low
quality like the likes of Arteta, Per, Chamack, etc. and whenever he buys
quality he leaves gaps and never completes the whole squad and
end up short in the near future, thts what he keeps doin.
Hahaha that's very true.At times you get the feeling that even we don't know what we want. However, the strikers Arsenal should be targetting are: Lukaku, Aubameyang, Belotti and Chiharito if everything fails. All these
players would improve us massively in terms of goalscoring and to me they are all worth their prices.I also feel Arsene Wenger doesn't know what he wants that's why he
ends up panic buying as usual.I wouldn't be angry at all if he signs only one
player and that is a world class striker. We have
quality in the other positions but the
players just lack form.As for the CF role we have no
quality.Wenger should wake up for once. This is his chanceto pounce for Aubameyang.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where
players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current
players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own
end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive
qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these
players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive
players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front
end, we have Ozil, a
player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the
players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this
player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season
ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3
players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill
players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a
player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class
qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6
players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
We took the game to Arsenal in the first half but unfortunately the
quality of their
players told in the
end.»
I'm hoping we don't
end up with Kokorin, Cheryshev, Blaszczykowski, Llorente but a
player of higher
quality
Fans get angry when the
players that we
end up with aren't of the
quality of those we are linked with but in most cases we were never in for those
players to begin with.
bottom - line: we
end up short at cb / dm / st for the rest of the season only because we are cheap and would not bid what it takes to get the
quality of
player we need.
why arsenal keep it so late because we need two
players a striker and a cdm in the
end we will buy a striker at the last moment and fans will forget about the cover cdm or someone better than coquelin.we will think at least we got the striker in the
end.And the board will be happy that they won't need to get two
quality players in the same window.
Passion >
Quality, that's something Wenger is trying to teach the modern set of football fans, without passion from your
players you
end up in a constant cycle of spending and hiring and firing of managers.
Why are we looking at Smalling?Lets get Auba over the line first and then address CB and CDM positions. If it means waiting until the
end of the season to get Top Top
quality then we will have to get through till then with what we have got.Its far better to identify the
players who will improve us and get them in than to bring in makeshift's for the sake of it.
Giroud can go, not doubting his
quality and I applaud him for everything he has done for the club but I feel 40 million is to much to reject for a
player approaching the
end of his career.
Not enough time to make
quality signings what a load of trash the window opened on 1st July we have been lead to believe serious conversations were taking place to sign
players but just like every other window we wait until the last minute and we
end up with no one or
players who are not good enough.
Truth is Wenger's valuation of
players is probably closer to the real valuation but at the
end of the day what must be understood is rarity of
players of certain
qualities & buyers in the market makes the valuation: at the moment the club valuation of
players is outdated not wrong but outdated but worth every penny down the line.
Lets be realistic this seasson, if wenger doesent buy at least one top
quality player we we
end up 4th again, Im tired of wenger selling fog and making profits.
Ozil is of course a master ball
player with vision but also like jack can over complicate doesn't track back and isn't a whippet... But so what both
quality... Campbell will
end up at some mid table serie a team
chicharito undergoes madrid medical and United agree falcao deal and at the
end wenger will say I didn't see any good
quality players available.
but we have one of the weakest teams left an they are missing key
players i expect us to have this finished by
end of first game - no excuses we have the
quality an experience
We can still sign some free agents, but
players who are free agents at the
end of the transfer window are seldom the
quality we require who can push us through.
Until we cease to buy our season tickets, which for many is akin to taking out a second mortgage, the ludicrous salaries paid to
players and Managers will continue to increase. With regard to the present crop of Arsenal
players some may lack the guts and determination of the ex
players you mention but at the
end of the day the problem at the club now is a lack of
quality particularly through the spine of the team.Virtually all our fans recognise the need for
quality in Goal, at Centre Back and DM.Unfortunately the one man who is in a position to do something about it does not seem to agree with us.
The bad thing is that we have a budget and when we spend big money on average
players we don't
end up getting top
quality because we spent a lot on those positions.
as wih just about every season for last 10 years we have a team that is a couple of real
quality players short of challenging on three fronts for top honours... so if wenger is willing to get rid of mert flamini arteta diaby and walcott (and possibly gibbs who is begining to really disappoint but perhaps worth another season) and bring in three
quality players cb dm and attacker i will change my mind and give him a chance till
end of contract... if its another round of bargain basement
players with potential and talk of getting in to cl as like a trophy... then yes he needs to go
tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow creeps in this petty pace from day to day to the last syllable of endless gallic bullshit....4 th place junkies wetting themselves over 3rd place finish should realise that other teams will be strengthening in summer definitely the others in top 4 and always a surprise or two outside... wenger has f @@@@@ us over for ten years now selling top
players and bringing in a string of jokers... yes that changed with ozil and sanchez... but giroud coquelin and monreal while all decent and can help us to another 4th place but not beyond that (coquelin could still be a top class
player but ai nt there yet) walcott and podolski will never deliver and merteshaker would not be in any other top 15 team in europe... so the idea that the squad is on the cusp of greatness is moronic and confirmed by
end of season performance... we need four
quality signings but i would settle for two (attacker plus DM) and an upgrade (left back)..
How the f**k to you get from someone suggesting we are buying better
quality players to accusing them of being akin to someone making death threats to Petr Cech????!!! I very rarely get angry on here but that is proper, proper bell -
end material.
The ability of Arsene Wenger to attract the top
quality players to Arsenal and to keep the ones we already have at the club despite the fact that the Gunners do not or can not match the really crazy transfer fees and wages paid by the likes of Manchester United and Man City will be a lot stronger if the current Arsenal squad can keep up the recent run of form and results and bring the Premier League trophy back to north London at the
end of this season.
